The revenue analyst is responsible for tracking and forecasting revenue over time, comparing this analysis to competitors, and reporting these trends to management to guide them in making informed decisions about pricing and other sales strategies.


  • Historical & Current Data Analysis
  • Identify patterns and trends in occupancy rates, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR). To guide management in making informed decisions about pricing and other sales strategies.
  • Market Analysis & Segmentation
  • Analyzing the market to identify trends and patterns to guide management in making informed decisions about pricing and other sales strategies. Segmentation involves dividing the market into different groups based on factors like demographics, behavior, and needs.
  • Competitor Analysis
  • Analyzing the competition to identify opportunities and threats to help the management team look at factors like pricing, promotions, and marketing strategies to create better offers to attract more guests.
  • Develop relationships with competitors.
  • Customer Behavior Analysis
  • Analyzing customer behavior to identify trends in booking patterns, length of stay, and spending habits that can help the management team make informed decisions about pricing and other sales strategies.
  • Contracts
    • Research for annual and quarterly rate updates.
    • Analyzing, comparing and reassessing contract terms and conditions.
    • Group series management: rates and specific terms and conditions.
  • Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting
    • Daily and monthly reporting: This involves creating detailed reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) like occupancy rates, ADR, RevPAR, and revenue forecasts.
    • Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
    • Daily report on reservations taken with flags to Sales and MORE Family Collection Concierge.
    • Weekly AVB report with analysis on weekly trends per property. Problems, solutions, opportunities.
    • Weekly Forecast 12 month rolling.
    • Monthly Reporting and YTD update.
    • Board Reports.
    • Ad hoc reports as required.
    • Accommodation Revenue for Property Budgets.
    • Management of allocations over high demand period.
    • Property specific debtors recon.
    • Systems - reporting system link into reservations system and maintenance.
