As the Rental Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the rental department, leading a team of rental agents, and ensuring the successful leasing of apartments across our estates. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of rental agents to achieve leasing targets.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the rental team.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of rental agents, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Make sure teams maintain relationships with existing tenants to keep them satisfied and promote renewals and referrals.
  • Conduct regular ghost shopper tests.
  • Conduct unknown caller tests.


  • Identify staffing needs and participate in the recruitment process to build a high-caliber rental team.
  • Conduct thorough onboarding for new team members, ensuring a smooth integration into the company culture and processes.
  • Make informed decisions regarding hiring and termination based on performance assessments.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective leasing strategies to maximize occupancy rates.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align leasing efforts with overall company objectives.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to make data-driven decisions.
  • Remain familiar with competing buildings and what they offer and recommend changes needed to our pricing and specials as well as what products to supply for future developments.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting:
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the rental team.
  • Generate regular reports on leasing performance and provide actionable insights for improvement.



Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in sales or promotions and management (minimum of 2 years), with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the real estate market and leasing trends is not a must but a plus.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and results oriented.
  • Competent with MS Office and other sales/CRM software
  • No degree required; relevant experience and skills are paramount.
  • Previous experience in hiring and managing a sales or promotions team is preferred.
