- Act as a strategic aide to the CEO, enabling her to concentrate on sector-specific leadership tasks without the encumbrance of operational minutiae.
- Ensure the organization's financial health by developing and managing budgets with a clear understanding of the specific needs and compliance requirements of the charity and fashion sectors.
- Implement and refine operational processes and policies to maximize efficiency, accountability, and compliance with sector-specific standards and regulations.
- Cultivate a workplace culture that values professional development, learning, and mutual respect, directly addressing the sector-specific challenges of high turnover and team engagement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal and compliance requirements, particularly those affecting the charity and fashion sectors, ensuring the organization's operations are beyond reproach.
- Proven track record in an administrative or operational leadership role within the charity and/or fashion sectors.
- Exceptional organizational and strategic planning skills, with the ability to manage complex budgets and operational plans.
- Strong communication skills, capable of fostering a positive, inclusive organizational culture while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Expertise in sector-specific databases, especially medical databases for charities, and a thorough understanding of Charity Commission protocols and legal matters relevant to the UK charity and fashion sectors.
