Our client is a multi-national alcoholics beverages company.

The On-Trade Sales Representative will have the following responsibilities:

  • Primary lead in establishing strong, meaningful relationships with the top, most important on-premises accounts in market.
  • Overall responsibility for portfolio advocacy, driving awareness and velocity of top opportunity brands.
  • Forms strong and mutually beneficial relationships with influential staff members including bar owners, food and drink program managers, bartenders, and waitstaff.
  • Conducts regular visits to assigned accounts and identifies opportunities to support growth of account through development of key branded programs and initiatives.
  • Drives awareness of brands in assigned accounts by securing menu placements, drink features, well opportunities, and best in class share of space on the back bar.
  • Builds visibility and account business by hosting consumer events (e.g. happy hours, tastings) and encouraging trial (e.g. promotional offers).
  • Partners with Brand coordinators and Brand Ambassadors to develop custom POS and execute consumer and trade events

The successful incumbent within the On-Trade Sales Representative role must meet the following requirements:

  • Must have on-trade network in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
  • Tertiary level Qualification in commerce, sale and marketing preferable
  • Bachelor's Degree / WSET would be advantageous.
  • 2+ Years field experience in within the On-Premises sale environment
  • Exceptional Rapport with Key Clients and in General Trade
  • Strong, established relationships with influential customers
  • Driver's License & reliable own transport
