Medical Receptionist

A medical practice situated in a reputable Pretoria East based hospital is seeking a Medical
Receptionist with 6-8 years’ experience within a similar role to join their capable team.

Qualifications and Experience
• Matric
• Own transport
• 6-8 years’ experience within a similar role
• Computer Literate (MS Office Suite)
• Vericliam experience would be beneficial.
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent coordination, admin and organisation skills.
• Working hours: 07h00 – 17h00 (Fridays until 14h00, if work is completed)

Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for answering incoming calls.
• Directing calls to appropriate staff.
• Greeting and checking in all patients for office appointments, including paperwork
for patients to fill out.
• Scheduling and arranging patient appointments.
• Keeping patient files organised and up to date.
• Keeping the office neat and clean.
• Cleaning of medical equipment.
• Responsible for personal administrative tasks.
• Sending and organisation of theatre/operating lists.
