Within WWL, the Field & Operations Learning team lands cross-segment, role-based learning programs focused on increasing technical, industry, and professional capabilities, to measurably accelerate field and partner performance.

Microsoft Azure, Security and PowerPlatform solutions are ever-expanding cloud services to help organizations meet their business challenges. As we enter the era of AI, more customers are expressing the need to upskill their teams – across technical, non-technical and executive roles. Demand for cloud services continues to accelerate as customers are building, managing, and deploying applications on a massive global network.

As this demand grows, so does the need for professionals with the skills to architect and implement solutions successfully. The tech talent gap is already identified by our customers as the main barrier to their massive cloud adoption to support their Digital Transformation. This topic is addressed at exec levels as it is a strategic challenge for those large organizations.

To meet this need, we are looking for talented professionals with a passion for learning, a strong customer-facing aptitude, and the excitement to collaborate across teams.

This is a highly visible position that will have significant impact. This role works directly with our Enterprise/Public Sector, Specialists and Customer Success teams to help create a skilling strategy and an integrated training plans for the most important projects/opportunities for a portfolio of customers. You will collaborate with customers to develop and lead the execution of skilling plans. As part of this, you will be able to identify and recommend the best learning and development option for our customers based on the evolution of their cloud-based journey and leveraging the whole OneMS learning portfolio including ESI, Unified Support, Learning Partners…).

The ideal candidate will have a strong program management background, experience working directly with customers including at exec level, brilliant communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate across teams in order to drive skilling clearly communicate the value of our unique skilling program to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Identify with our sales teams the most critical projects that will be supported or that require upskilling for success
  • Work closely with customers to define those skilling needs and build extensive training proposals that will help them drive the adoption of Azure and Security with emphasis on AI
  • Build strong and trusted advisor mode relationships with customers leading to increased satisfaction
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of targeted training opportunities and provide regular forecasts
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews to senior management
  • Provide thought leadership around the importance of building technical capabilities with customers, and the best approach to do so in a scalable way
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to translate ideas into clear, high impact guidance for diverse technical audiences 
  • Collaborate closely with our segment teams to build scalable skilling motions with customers.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of consulting or program-management or professional training experience in the IT industry
  • Experience in technology skill development is a plus
  • Proven experience as a trusted advisor to customers, capable of forging partnerships across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working with customers, with the ability to translate that experience into insights that influence the future and direction of our skilling programs
  • Establish a strong connection with training service providers to jointly deliver customer skilling plans that deliver greater scale
  • Excellent communications skills and executive presence; ability to represent Microsoft and be inspirational and influential in stakeholders around a culture of learning  
  • Strong organizational agility and ability to collaborate and influence across groups
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Microsoft certification strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel 10-20% of time
  • English required
