Our client is seeking a talented Payroll, HR, and Accounting Specialist to join their team.

A wholesale distribution company that supplies a wide range of products to various retailers, businesses, and institutions. They typically focus on providing high-quality goods at competitive prices, catering to the needs of different market segments. Their product offerings may include household items, groceries, electronics, clothing, and other consumer goods.
 
As a Payroll, HR, and Accounting Specialist you would handles variety of tasks that span across these three areas, ensuring the smooth operation of employee-related processes and financial transactions.

Duties:

  • Calculate and process employee wages, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll distribution.
  • Stay updated with payroll laws and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, and other statutory requirements.
  • Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues.
  • Answer employee queries related to payroll.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Record and process financial transactions accurately.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
 
Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Diploma – Payroll, Accounting or Finance
  • Degree - Payroll, Accounting or Finance
 
Experience:
  • 3 Years Payroll, HR, and Accounting experience is a MUST
  • Retail exposure would be a huge plus
  • Pastel Payroll and IQ Retail (Kerridge) is NB
 
Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency with relevant software systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
