Job Title: Group Patient Services Manager

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Job Summary:
The Group Patient Services Manager will oversee the revenue cycle across the Group, identifying opportunities to optimize billing and maximize revenue. This role is key in minimizing financial risk and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and contractual arrangements with medical schemes and funders.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Business-Related Degree, Theatre or Critical Care Diploma
  • 5-7 years of experience in a Patient Services Manager role
  • ICD-10 and CPT coding experience
  • Proven Revenue Cycle Management experience
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategies to manage short-payments and improve cash flow.
  • Monitor funder contracts for compliance and train staff accordingly.
  • Oversee tariff and billing rule updates in the system.
  • Manage CPT/ICD coding addition and system implementations.
  • Provide ongoing support and ensure compliance 
  • Review revenue performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to cost controls and financial documentation standards.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders to optimize the revenue cycle.
