Our client in the insurance space is looking for an experienced salesperson who is strategic and result-driven to be a Sales Manager focused on growth by recruiting, maintaining and developing brokers in the Cape Town area.



Key Responsibilities

  • Grow the Value of New Business
  • Implement and maintain a sales strategic plan, to ensure that the team meets its set targets
  • Monitoring of collection persistence
  • Oversee the team’s management of business retention
  • Give technical support and motivation to representatives
  • Coach representatives on improving their selling skills
  • Manage recruitment, development, and maintenance of the team
  • Manage the onboarding of Quality Brokers and Financial Advisors position
  • Ensure brokers are equipped with sufficient office documentation e.g. application forms
  • Handle administration queries on behalf of dedicated brokers
  • Manage the supervision of Financial Advisors
  • Oversee that the rendering of the financial services is conducted in accordance to FAIS
  • Manage Compliance of the impacting legislation within the team
  • Manage the complaints resolution process
  • Manage the quality assurance process
  • Prepare performance reports for Regional Monthly Sales meetings
  • Participation in Regional Sales meetings

 



Qualification

 • FSCA recognized Degree

 

TECHNICAL/LEGAL CERTIFICATION

• Regulatory Examination Level 5: Representatives

• Regulatory Examination Level 1: Key Individuals

• 120 credits on NQF level 5

 

EXPERIENCE

• 1-year relevant Management experience

• 2 years of Financial services experience
