Are you ready to lead and make an impact? Our client is seeking a Company Engineer to manage their Engineering and Maintenance department, ensuring optimal plant performance for tobacco crop processing.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, T3/N6 Diploma, or relevant certifications.
  • Experience: 5+ years managing plant maintenance, projects, and teams in factories, mines, or processing facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of predictive/preventative maintenance and OSHACT regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of artisans and maintenance staff to ensure efficient equipment operation.
  • Oversee maintenance programs, capital projects, and installations.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements (e.g., steam boilers, pressure vessels, HT electrical supplies).
  • Drive environmental sustainability initiatives and improve energy efficiency.
  • Manage departmental budgets, spares inventory, and health & safety compliance.
Key Performance Indicators:
  • <5% downtime during processing season
  • 0% budget over-expenditure and workplace injuries
  • 100% planned maintenance compliance
