Introduction: As a Medical Advisor, you will collaborate with the Medical Affairs Manager and key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and researchers, to provide scientific and clinical insights. Your role involves gathering, analyzing, and presenting data on medical research, clinical trials, and patient outcomes. You will offer strategic recommendations to address challenges and opportunities in the medical field.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Engagement
- Identify and build relationships with key medical experts and researchers and understand their needs and provide them with credible scientific expertise.
- Build and maintain relationships with key medical experts and follow up with them regularly to gather insights
- Work with medical experts to set up and manage data generation projects and ensure these projects align with product strategies and generate valid data.
- Share the results of data generation projects with relevant customers and ensure the data is communicated effectively through reports, publications, and presentations.
Medical Operating Plan Implementation and Strategy Development
- Develop and implement Country Medical Plans in assigned therapeutic areas
- Collect information that could impact medical plans and product development ,and use this information to improve company strategies
- Contribute to the development of medical plans for products by providing medical insights to help clarify business opportunities and challenges
- Create specific medical and publication plans for therapy areas and develop engagement plans for key opinion leaders and stakeholders.
Portfolio Management
- Create and execute high-quality educational programs in conjunction with external experts for healthcare professionals and therapeutic area experts
- Create accurate and useful materials like slide sets and clinical cases to support the medical strategy
- Help organize and manage proper clinically conducted studies to gather data on treatments.
- Provide scientific knowledge to other teams within the company and help them understand the therapeutic areas and the science behind the treatments.
- Provide accurate and timely information to healthcare professionals about medical topics.
- Keep up to date with the latest information on diseases, treatments, and products to acquire deep understanding of the therapy areas you work in.
- Stay informed about the latest scientific and clinical information on treatment related to cardiometabolic vascular diseases. Understand both the company's products and competitors' products. Gather information on medical topics, competitors, and market trends.
- Collect information that could impact medical plans and product development and use this information to improve the company's strategies.
- Develop and implement action plans in line with the company's medical strategy to ensure products are accessible to patients.
- Provide regular medical updates to the commercial team and ensure they have the information they need to succeed.
Business Impact
- Assist in organizing and participating in medical and scientific meetings and represent the company at these events.
- Manage special programs for patients who need access to treatments.

Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Life Sciences degree
- Qualified medical professional (e.g. doctor / pharmacist); PhD / PharmD qualification advantageous
- 2+ years’ Medical Affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry
