Job Overview
To nationally design, develop, customize, facilitate, assess, and provide feedback on technical training for all Technical Staff within the Daimler Truck Southern Africa Dealer Network in compliance to the Company's Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy & S.H.E. requirements and to perform delegated S.H.E. tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations.

Job Overview
To nationally design, develop, customize, facilitate, assess, and provide feedback on technical training for all Technical Staff within the Daimler Truck Southern Africa Dealer Network in compliance to the Company's Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy & S.H.E. requirements and to perform delegated S.H.E. tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare training by identifying the scope of technical training for the external stakeholders and customise it to South African context into legislation, business specifications and requirements.
- Apply the specific training methodology and facilitate DTSA Technical training courses effectively.
- Conduct learner assessments practically and theoretically pre, during and after intervention as well as during assessment centres as required by the learning interventions.
- Complete summary of statement of results, put together the trainer report and submit after course. Follow-up and ensure that qualification certificates are issued timeously where required.
- Develop SOPs/Quick Reference Guides per training process - aligned to Global WPC and obtain sign-off from the dealer Training Academy Portfolio Head.
- Comply with all DTSA Compliance policies, rules and regulations. Ensure that DTSA is not placed in disrepute by behaviour prior to, during, and after training sessions.
- Qualified Technician.
- Qualified Maintenance & Systems Technician.
- Diagnostic Technician will be an added advantage.
- Training Certificate or Diploma in ETD after 1994.
- Degree in HR or equivalent an added advantage.
- 3 - 5 years’ training and technical automotive experience.
- 1 – 2 years’ Mercedes-Benz Trucks DTAC experience an added advantage.
- Knowledge of commercial vehicles and related automotive knowledge.
- ETDP knowledge including skills development legislation.
