Our client is a respected and growing engineering consulting firm specialising in civil infrastructure projects. With a strong track record in delivering high-quality work across the public and private sectors, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to work closely with the Managing Director and help lead the business into its next phase of growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

With a strong track record in delivering high-quality work across the public and private sectors, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to work closely with the Managing Director and help lead the business into its next phase of growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Lead day-to-day operations of the consulting business
- Support and deputies for the Managing Director in operational and strategic functions
- Manage and coordinate multiple civil infrastructure projects
- Conduct client meetings, build relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Oversee project design and implementation, including:
- Bulk earthworks o Stormwater management o Sewerage systems o Civil services and roads
- Supervise construction activities, site inspections, and contractor performance
- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, legislation, and safety protocols
- BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Professional Registration (PrEng/PrTechEng) - Essential
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in civil engineering consulting and project execution
- Proven experience in design, project management, and construction supervision
- Solid understanding of engineering standards and risk management practices
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Previous experience working in a EPCM environment
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage competing priorities
- High level of professionalism, accountability, and initiative
- Autocad
- Civil 3D
- MS Office
