Job Purpose

Forklift Drivers play a crucial role in warehouse operations by ensuring the efficient loading, unloading, and transport of goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and Unloading: Safely loading and unloading goods onto transport vehicles and storage areas.
• Transporting Materials: Efficiently moving materials between different locations within the facility.
• Stock Management: Organizing and storing products as per inventory management protocols.
• Inspection and Reporting: Regularly inspecting the forklift equipment to ensure it’s in proper working condition and reporting any faults or damage immediately.
• Assisting with Inventory Counts: Helping with periodic inventory checks and audits.
• General Maintenance: Performing basic maintenance tasks on the forklift to ensure its longevity.
• Adhering to Safety Practices: Following all workplace safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Team Collaboration: Working closely with warehouse staff and other forklift operators.
