Responsible for all duties and responsibilities assigned to the Supporting Services department and individually, including but not exclusive of; database management, database administration, trip cost estimates, billing audits, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Database Management and administration.
  • Maintains the various databases to ensure relevance, accuracy, and quality of data.
  • Trip Cost Estimate creation and customer interaction.
  • Operational Support, such as hotel coordination, airline coordination, transportation coordination or any additional products and services.
  • Supports billing team as necessary for trip creation and audits.
  • Ensures quality assurance and consistency of all services delivered by Supporting Services.
  • Will maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations.
  • Helps other employees to accomplish company goals.
  • Ability to act in situations with confidence, assertiveness, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to deal resolutely with sensitive issues; methods and techniques used in persuasion and negotiation of conflicts and problems.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
  • Working Hours: as determined by management.

Job Requirements

  • Highly organised, detailed oriented with strong math skills
  • Strong customer service and relationship building skills
  • Self-motivated and has the ability to take on challenges and be responsive to change
  • Ability to partner with other departments and interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organisation
  • Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing, in a diverse range of audiences and settings
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Database entry skills
  • Information Research skills
  • Knowledge of global geography
  • Knowledge of aviation
  • Knowledge of the travel industry
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends, if needed

Experience

  • Previous experience of maintaining data information is preferred.
  • Previous experience conducting research of operational critical information is preferred.
  • Experience within the aviation or travel industry is preferred.
