1. Inventory Management

Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels.

Conduct regular stock counts (daily, weekly, monthly, or annually).

Reconcile physical stock with inventory records.

Update stock records using inventory management systems.
2. Stock Receiving and Inspection
-
Verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
-
Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies.
-
Record and store received items correctly in designated areas.
3. Stock Distribution and Issuance
-
Ensure correct stock is picked, packed, and dispatched for orders.
-
Track and document the movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.

Ensure timely supply of materials to production or sales departments.
4. Stock Replenishment
-
Identify and report low stock levels.
-
Initiate or assist in reordering processes.

Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely restocking.
5. Documentation and Reporting
-
Maintain accurate stock records and generate inventory reports.

Report discrepancies, damaged items, or stock shortages to supervisors.

Assist in preparing audit documents.
6. System Updates
-
Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software for data entry.
-
Update stock locations, quantities, and item details.
7. Compliance and Safety

Follow health, safety, and security protocols.
-
Ensure goods are stored in compliance with safety and handling standards.
8. Coordination and Communication
-
Work closely with purchasing, sales, and logistics teams.
-
Communicate effectively about stock issues or urgent needs.
