1. Handling Transactions

Receive payments from customers in cash, credit/debit cards, or other methods.

Issue receipts and return correct change promptly.

Process refunds or exchanges according to company policy.
2. Customer Service
-
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Answer basic inquiries related to products, services, or terminal information.

Resolve minor customer complaints or escalate issues to supervisors.
3. Operating the Cash Register or POS System
-
Accurately enter sales into the system.

Ensure the till is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift.

Report discrepancies or errors in cash handling.
4. Currency Handling (if applicable)
-
Exchange foreign currencies following airport and financial regulations.
-
Verify the authenticity of currency and follow anti-money laundering protocols.

Maintain accurate currency records and reconcile currency at shift end.
5. Sales Support
-
Assist with stock arrangement, labeling, and restocking when needed.

Promote products or services during transactions (e.g., upselling).

Support promotional activities and discounts.
6. Documentation and Reporting
-
Maintain transaction logs and sales reports.

Complete end-of-day cash reports and hand over to finance or management.

Report suspicious transactions or security issues.
7. Compliance and Security
-
Follow airport and store/company security procedures.
-
Comply with aviation and financial regulations (e.g., ID checks for duty-free).

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer data securely.
