Job Description: Technician Assistant - Maintenance

Purpose of Role: The successful candidate will ensure they assist on all general work to be done in the maintenance department and where applicable to assist the Artisan if the necessary training has been provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all Safety Health Environment (SHE) and housekeeping requirements.
- Adhere to the Duty of Care Policy at all times.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
- Support the maintenance team by ensuring smooth operations, assisting with routine maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry), and maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas.
- Assist with event setups and breakdowns, including moving furniture, while aiding in diagnosing and repairing facility and equipment issues.
- Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- Technical qualification (e.g. N3 Mechanical / Electrical)
- Overhead cranes, forklifts, mobile elevated working platform
- Problem-solving skills and communication skills
- Basic technical skills - Understanding how to use hand and power tools, basic plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
