Core Description

Ensures data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support data management, data governance and data quality.

Key Deliverables / Primary Functions
  • Support, embed and maintain decision support or, data management solutions.
  • Manage all identified sources of data.
  • Create, deliver, and maintain sustainable Data Management and Data Governance practices, artefacts, projects, solutions, and outcomes in collaboration with teams, technologies and processes; in accordance with regulations; both internal and external through documented processes.
  • Engage and communicate with stakeholders, users, customers, vendors, peers, experts, stewards, team and other, both internal and externally, towards successful outcomes, as a trusted advisor in addition to training and support.
  • Document and report all activities/ artefacts in lieu of positive outcomes in support of strategic/informed decision making and ensure all is current and easily accessible to all.
  • Streamline, standardise, and automate Business Processes, Standards, Operations and Outcomes in lieu of fit for purpose and best practice,
  • Perform all Data related activities including but not limited to requirements analysis, assessment, profiling, standardisation, enrichment, mapping, scrubbing, massaging, reporting, and drafting, presenting, and maintaining related artefacts.

•Three (3) years working experience in data management and governance, preferably with exposure to the full IT function.

OR

•Five (5) years working experience, in data management and governance, preferably with exposure to the full IT function.

Certifications DAMA Professional Memberships in Relevant Industry Level of Engagement & Span of Control Span of Control
