Role Responsibilities.
In order to be successful in this role you shall require the following:

Role Responsibilities.
- Compilation of major project tender and proposal documentation, including fees and business acumen. Understanding the complete project life cycle.
- Compiling Bills of Quantities using various standards of measurement including international standards.
- Expert reviewing and verification of project documentation including estimates, methodologies, plans and commercial submissions.
- Managing and responsibility for leading teams on project delivery at different stages of a project, including above exceptional understanding of all engineering and construction disciplines.
- Compilation and negotiations of project contract awards.
- Excellent understanding of contract management and knowledge of various standard forms of contracts used in construction & engineering industry.
- Prepare and negotiate successful settlement final accounts.
- Willing to work on project engineering sites.
- Registered with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveyor Profession (SACQSP).
- Registered with AACE as a qualified Estimator (Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering).
- Member if the Association of Arbitrators of Southern Africa (NPC).
- Quantity Surveyor with commercial and estimating expert knowledge and a minimum of 10 years' experience.
- Experience in all aspects of major project Infrastructure engineering including resources and oil & gas.
- Able to visit sites throughout Africa & middle East.
- Must have advanced skills on WINQS, RIB CCS, MS Office including MS Projects.
- Outstanding planning and communications skills with ability to present solutions to clients and project teams.
In order to be successful in this role you shall require the following:
- Outstanding knowledge and experience in the standard engineering and construction contracts particularly FIDIC and NEC.
- Above average technical engineering understanding of process and infrastructure engineering.
- Ability to work independently and lead a young team.
- Be able to be an effective mentor and coach.
- Availability to travel.
- Ability to work under pressure.
