Position Overview
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients to develop and drive new opportunities.
  • Responsible for client satisfaction through managing client expectations, regular interaction, follow-ups and resolving issues.
  • Implement sales strategies and ensure achievement of targets.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all products, services and solutions offered by Adept, to match client needs with our solutions and offerings.
  • Monitor solution delivery time.
  • Represent Adept at networking or industry-related functions.
  • Work closely with relevant resources to ensure correct solutions are being proposed.
  • Work closely with the Sales Administrator to ensure the successful implementation of project plans and/or service delivery.
  • Regular and proactive progress reporting.
  • Submit weekly sales report.
  • Manage Client churn through proactive engagement with clients.
  • Grow the Client base by scheduling sufficient new client meetings with the prospect of converting them to billing clients.
  • Always maintaining a healthy pipeline of sales, 1 – 3-month forecasts.
  • High levels of accuracy regarding committed sales for the month.
  • Have a clear understanding of internal processes.
Job Requirements
  • At least 3 years’ Managed Services and/or IT Services industry experience within a similar sales role, with an excellent track record on achieving targets.
  • Retain and grow revenue with the customer base.
  • Identify possible problems/issues and resolve them immediately.
  • Present new products and services.
  • Regular meetings and feedback reporting.
Education and Qualifications
  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • A Diploma or Degree in Business Management will be advantageous.
  • Microsoft Sales Professional Certifications.
  • Understanding of Networks and Topologies.
  • Firewall licensing certification will be advantageous.
