Position Overview
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients to develop and drive new opportunities.
- Responsible for client satisfaction through managing client expectations, regular interaction, follow-ups and resolving issues.
- Implement sales strategies and ensure achievement of targets.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all products, services and solutions offered by Adept, to match client needs with our solutions and offerings.
- Monitor solution delivery time.
- Represent Adept at networking or industry-related functions.
- Work closely with relevant resources to ensure correct solutions are being proposed.
- Work closely with the Sales Administrator to ensure the successful implementation of project plans and/or service delivery.
- Regular and proactive progress reporting.
- Submit weekly sales report.
- Manage Client churn through proactive engagement with clients.
- Grow the Client base by scheduling sufficient new client meetings with the prospect of converting them to billing clients.
- Always maintaining a healthy pipeline of sales, 1 – 3-month forecasts.
- High levels of accuracy regarding committed sales for the month.
- Have a clear understanding of internal processes.
- At least 3 years’ Managed Services and/or IT Services industry experience within a similar sales role, with an excellent track record on achieving targets.
- Retain and grow revenue with the customer base.
- Identify possible problems/issues and resolve them immediately.
- Present new products and services.
- Regular meetings and feedback reporting.
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- A Diploma or Degree in Business Management will be advantageous.
- Microsoft Sales Professional Certifications.
- Understanding of Networks and Topologies.
- Firewall licensing certification will be advantageous.
- Customer service oriented.
- Results-driven.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong business acumen required.
- Ability to work in a team, whilst remaining individually accountable for achieving performance standards.
- Diplomatic and persuasive, able to build objective lines of argument/rationales for action and present viewpoints assertively.
- Passion for sales.
