Job Opportunity: Property Administrator ( South Africans working for a US client)

Hours: Mon- Fri 9am - 5pm

Requirements:

Experience in property management, customer service and bookkeeping


Key Responsibilities:


Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants.

Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and service requests

Assist with lease administration and renewals

Maintain accurate lease records and ensure compliance with lease terms.

Track key lease dates, rent escalations, and options.

Assist with rent collection and process payments.

Help prepare budgets, financial reports, and expense tracking.

Monitor operating costs and suggest cost-saving measures.

Coordinate repairs and maintenance with vendors or in-house teams.

Schedule inspections and ensure properties meet safety and regulatory standards.

Obtain quotes, issue purchase orders, and oversee vendor work.

Maintain vendor records, insurance certificates, and contracts.

Maintain property files and databases (e.g., lease files, maintenance logs?)

Prepare correspondence, reports, and meeting notes.

Support property managers with special projects.

Ensure compliance with local property laws and regulations.

Assist in handling insurance claims and incident reports.

Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for ownership or senior management.

Track occupancy, lease expirations, and financial performance.

Located in South Africa

Fluent/ neutral accent - Moderate English

Stable internet and back up power supply

Comfortability working US hours
