Fleet Controller

Aquat Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented Fleet Controller to oversee the management and maintenance of our fleet of vehicles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating fleet operations, optimizing vehicle utilization, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations and company policies. As Fleet Controller, you will monitor vehicle performance, schedules, and driver compliance while collaborating closely with the logistics and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics
• Ensure regular vehicle maintenance and repairs are conducted
• Optimize route planning and vehicle utilization
• Handle vehicle licensing, registrations, and insurance renewals
• Maintain records of fuel consumption and maintenance logs
• Coordinate with drivers regarding schedules and vehicle assignments
• Conduct safety audits and compliance checks of vehicles
• Implement fleet management software and tools
• Assist in budget management and cost reduction initiatives
• Resolve any issues or emergencies related to fleet operations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fleet Controller or relevant role
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, compliance, and regulations
• Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick decisions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred
