Role Purpose
To take full accountability for the Pension Backed Home loan Product within Momentum Corporate. To play an integral role in designing the processes necessary to implement and optimise the new Product to all stakeholders. To focus on the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the product.

Requirements
- Matric
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Banking or Business.
- Minimum 2 years -experience in a Product Specialist role.
- Financial Services Industry Experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and Power point skills.
- Responsible for providing support for the Pension Backed home loan product.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Play an integral role in to implement and optimise processes.
- Proactively identify red flags and drive solutions.
- Vetting customer applications, for example, utilising an automated credit scoring tool, verifying all documentation provided by the customer, calculating the affordability for the loan.
- Focus on the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the product.
- Manage small to large projects related to product enhancement.
- Manage product reporting. Utilise analytical skills to extract, manipulate, interpret and present data effectively.
- Understand and drive profitability levers.
- Provide input into sales and marketing initiatives.
- Initiate and manage product research and data analysis; understand the needs of the client base.
- Manage and maintain relationships with stakeholders across MMI, corporate clients, brokers and suppliers.
- Responsible for customer and broker servicing.
- Ensure that the product fulfils all risk and compliance requirements.
- Deliver on service level agreements made with clients and internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure that client expectations are managed
- Internal collaboration: Effective and consistent service delivery and support to all internal clients.
- Customer engagement/retention: Engagement/ retention of clients within current portfolio.
- External Customer satisfaction: effective and consistent service delivery and support to external clients.
- Client service: Ensure service excellence is achieved in line with company values.
- Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within area of responsibility
- Participating in and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service
