Role Responsibilities
- Act as a Project Manager in the delivery of various built environment projects through all project lifecycle stages.
- Technical proficiency in standard project management skills across all knowledge areas.
- Develop and maintain project plans, records, reports, schedules, documentation and filing.
- Monitor, control and report on project progress against cost, schedule and scope baselines.
- Track and report on project financials and financial performance, including preparing forecasts and processing payment certificates and invoicing.
- Timeously identify and report on risks and issues and proactively respond in addressing them.
- Interact with all project role players (including clients, user clients, professional teams, and contractors) and other stakeholders.
- Adhere to and implement all internal quality control and management procedures.
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of post-graduate experience in project management within the built environment
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- Currently registered PrCPM with the SACPCMP
- Experience on built environment projects in a Project Management role
- Experience of working with multi-disciplinary professional teams
- Understanding of construction contracts
- Proficiency in oral and written English language
- Good computer skills in Micorsoft suite (MS Project experience would be an added advantage)
- Additional built environment registrations (e.g. PrTech) would be an added advantage
- Advanced degrees, such as a master's in engineering or project management, can be advantageous.
