Role Responsibilities

  • Act as a Project Manager in the delivery of various built environment projects through all project lifecycle stages.
  • Technical proficiency in standard project management skills across all knowledge areas.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, records, reports, schedules, documentation and filing.
  • Monitor, control and report on project progress against cost, schedule and scope baselines.
  • Track and report on project financials and financial performance, including preparing forecasts and processing payment certificates and invoicing.
  • Timeously identify and report on risks and issues and proactively respond in addressing them.
  • Interact with all project role players (including clients, user clients, professional teams, and contractors) and other stakeholders.
  • Adhere to and implement all internal quality control and management procedures.


Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of post-graduate experience in project management within the built environment
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • Currently registered PrCPM with the SACPCMP
  • Experience on built environment projects in a Project Management role
  • Experience of working with multi-disciplinary professional teams
  • Understanding of construction contracts
  • Proficiency in oral and written English language
  • Good computer skills in Micorsoft suite (MS Project experience would be an added advantage)
  • Additional built environment registrations (e.g. PrTech) would be an added advantage
  • Advanced degrees, such as a master's in engineering or project management, can be advantageous.
