Brand activation manager assumes the responsibility for the execution of a global strategic plan for Nicorette across all touch points from consumer to HCP plans, whilst responsible and accountable for day-to-day management of all contribute brands within Selfcare.The contribute brands are, but not limited to Expectalin, Sudafed, Sinumax, Dr Mom, Vermox, Imodium, Daktarin, Motilium, and new brands responsibility.)

What You Will Do
Brand activation manager assumes the responsibility for the execution of a global strategic plan for Nicorette across all touch points from consumer to HCP plans, whilst responsible and accountable for day-to-day management of all contribute brands within Selfcare.The contribute brands are, but not limited to Expectalin, Sudafed, Sinumax, Dr Mom, Vermox, Imodium, Daktarin, Motilium, and new brands responsibility.)
Key Responsibilities-
- The custodian for Nicorette brand managing day to day responsibilities including forecasting, shopper and consumer activations.
- Full P&L responsibility – NTS, GM
- Forecasting
- Distribution and Shopper activities
- Consumer facing activities
- Lead HCP execution on Nicorette - implement global play book. Lead and guide how Nicorette specific activity, messaging, KOLs etc. are managed and executed in partnership with HCP team.
- Shape and develop a market leading marketing agenda for Nicorette & towards our HCP’s (GP’s, stop smoking coaches, Dentists & Mouth Hygienist) to grow our market share
- Generate Insights and understand HCP needs to develop an HCP centric plan & content.
- Translate HCP insights into a brand & channel strategy for the different HCP segments.
- Draft and execute a marketing and communication plan towards HCPs in SA.
- Develop HCP content & materials (customer centric).
- Review and evaluate market research/trends and competitor information.
- Develop a strong influencer/KOL strategy & program for Nicorette & Listerine-
- Working collaboratively with external customers and partners (healthcare professionals. & healthcare associations) to develop a KOL network
- Play a proactive role in developing and managing relationships. with KOLs
- Understand the Patient journey, identify key influencers and develop an omnichannel key influencer program (ex. Partnership with professional organization with congresses, webinars).
- Amplify message by partnering with influential Key Opinion Leaders and/or trade associations.
- Facilitate quit smoking support access to Nicorette range
- Build, lead & execute the HCP Marketing plan in SA with excellence-
- Position our brands as partner of choice with HCP’s/GP’s (e.g. doctors, quit smoking coaches, dentists, dental hygienists).
- Develop omni-channel Professional Marketing plan in conjunction with regional support to drive awareness for Nicorette (e.g. educational events, advisory boards, CRM activities).
- Excellence in execution- leverage content, creation of material, execution via 3rd party agencies and tracking of results.
- Manage distribution of samples towards HCP's.
- Collaborate closely with lead stakeholders across cluster to access best in-class best practices.
- Assure compliance-
- Support and comply with the organizations’ duty of care obligations, in pharmacovigilance, regulatory, quality and medical information.
- Custodian of all Self Care contribute brands (this will mostly be about monitoring distribution, forecasting and optimising other tactical opportunities). (Expectalin, Dr. Mom, Sudafed, Sinumax,Vermox + Daktarin, Imodium, Motilium)
- Self-Care Special Projects/ Activation Specialist
- Undergraduate qualification - Diploma/Degree
- 3-5 years of experience in Marketing in Pharmaceutical business or Health & Beauty.
- Experience in pharma and working with Health Care professionals is a plus.
- Strong experience in stakeholder mapping, influencer marketing and omni-channel is a plus.
- Strategic and conceptual thinking is an asset.
- Strong experience in project management and execution.
- Self-starter, able to create structure and meet tight deadlines.
- High propensity for collaboration and cross-functional ways of working.
- Background in pharmaceutical or bio-science educational background is a plus
