Hello…an exciting new opportunity has just become available in our Hollard International, Hollard Health I.T. area. We are looking to recruit a Junior Business Analyst (Permanent).

The Junior Business Analyst (BA) is the bridge between our users across Africa, and the technical team. The Junior BA investigates issues, facilitates and tracks changes, ensures that all changes are applied correctly and meets the various business needs, drives the testing process, and is the ultimate gatekeeper for changes to be deployed. The Junior BA also keeps track of which changes are at what stage of development. Relevant documentation and supporting documentation is administered and managed by the Junior BA.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering
Understand the business, how it operates, and how it can be optimized
Articulate the requirements to the technical team
Articulate technical issues to the business users
Understand and ensure the critical success factors for deliverables
Testing
Define test cases to ensure deliverables work
Maintain the repository of test cases
Drive feature and regression testing
Look at ways to automate, optimize and simplify testing
Approve releases, when feature testing is completed
Ensure users complete user testing
Keep record of test cases and test results
Support and Delivery tracking
Review support tickets as they arrive, and allocate and prioritize accordingly
Produce reports to ensure delivery remains optimal
Training
Show users on how to use new features
Act as first line support, to show users how to use the system
Assist internal, international, and external users with using the systems
Documentation
Create help files and users manuals for existing features
Update documentation for new features
Ensure requirements documents are translated to design documents
General Business Knowledge
Understand how business operates
Understand how technology can assist
Understand how Hollard Heath interacts with its international partners
Assist various teams with administration as needed
