Job Description

  • People Management:

Developing and implementing tactical strategies and delivery plans for the region or area.

Supervising and supporting the execution of priorities by the team, ensuring service level agreements and customer outcomes are met.

Ensuring adherence to the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS Act) and other relevant regulations.

  • Business Development:

Driving new business initiatives and achieving revenue targets.

  • Risk Management:

Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with the business operations.

  • Financial Performance:

Monitoring and reporting on the financial performance of the region or area.

  • Customer Satisfaction:

Ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty through effective service delivery.

Professional Experience

  • A minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in financial planning, covering all FAIS product categories for Financial Advice. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks, and estate planning.
  • Proven experience in leading a team of financial advisors, driving sales performance, training, and professional development, while ensuring adherence to financial planning best practices.
  • Skilled in stakeholders management, providing expert input, and managing relationships across internal and external networks, including product suppliers, branches, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ability to analyse the regional client base, identify growth opportunities, and allocate resources effectively to meet sales and revenue targets while ensuring alignment with financial advice value propositions.
  • Expertise in workforce planning, portfolio allocation, and compliance oversight, ensuring that all financial advisers maintain the necessary qualifications, training, and regulatory adherence (FAIS, KYC, risk, and compliance).

Education

Bachelors Degree and Professional Qualifications: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
