To design user interfaces, using best practices and principles
Hello Future User Experience Designer _ FNB iCustomer
The UX Designer would need to translate high-level requirements from various business partners and teams into interaction flows and patterns and transform them into intuitive and functional designs with the aim of shaping and improving the customer and user experience of our various platforms while achieving set out business objectives. The UX designer would need to engage with business stakeholders and partners to ensure accurate outputs and managing expectations and must be a team player. The UI specialist needs to present their work outputs to various stakeholders and to manage the governance and process of their work outputs. The UX designer is expected to present approved work outputs in large forums for final approval. The UX designer is required to apply critical thinking, have good business acumen and be able to manage several projects on the go. The UX designer would need to be involved in user research sessions and be able to present back to various forums user research insights and findings.

Are You Someone Who Can
- Analyse and translate high-level requirements into UX flows
- Analyse and translate business requirement specifications and process flow documents
- Unpacking of work requirements and asking clarification questions
- Demonstrate critical thinking by providing a good rationale behind proposed screen flow experiences based on research.
- Formulate and justify a rationale behind a proposed design solution based on data analytics, competitor/industry analysis or user research
- Create user flows, high fidelity prototypes of various user experiences
- Map user journeys
- Using Figma construct high fidelity prototypes and user flows utilising the correct templates, UI patterns and maintaining organisational standards.
- Demonstrate the ability to think outside the box and propose a new idea or multiple design solutions to a requirement - how has existing eco-systems been leveraged off to achieve the requirement.
- Regular interactions with the business team to ensure timeous deliveries of your outputs.
- Analyse and synthesise data and research results into actionable recommendations that inform design and content strategies.
- Model alternative solutions.
- Have a good understanding of a customer experience journey.
- Stakeholder engagement
- Project transitioning and status updates on time and well managed
- Build relationships with key stakeholders
- Obtaining sign-off from various teams of your outputs.
- Provide ongoing consultation, guidance with the PM, BA, Development and QA to ensure the UX experience on allocated projects is upheld
- Engage in cross-functional teams, collaborate across boundaries and find common ground with various stakeholders.
- Participate in various forums to present your outputs
- Proactively schedule meetings around your required work outputs with various stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to share knowledge including lessons learnt within the business and the user experience community.
- Effective teamwork, self-management and alignment with group values
- Participate in specialist communities of practice and contribute positively to own and organizational knowledge improvement, where applicable or required.
- Plan and manage own workflow, anticipating obstacles, juggling priorities, and following through on objectives within agreed timeframes and according to quality standards
- Preserve relationships despite airing conflicting views and seek mutual gains when addressing conflicts.
- Act in an ethical, independent, transparent, and morally defensible manner, including highlighting unethical practices.

- Minimum UX equivalent degree or qualification
- 5 years' experience
- Any fintech experience
- Technical pre-requisite:
Has a good working knowledge of the MacOS
Has a good working knowledge of using 1Jira
Has a good working knowledge of using 1Confluence
