Grade A – Site Supervisor

A site supervisor must be well-trained in observation and dealing with staff members. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation.

The goal is to help the company to maintain excellent working conditions by keeping facilities safe and problem-free.

The vacant position is in Rosebank, Johannesburg.

Responsibilities

Monitor and authorize the entrance of vehicles or people into the property.

Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area.

Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.

Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions.

Assist people in need.

Assist the Site Manager with day-to-day tasks.

Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be a Grade A Security Officer for 2 years and longer.
• Must do Supervisor / Inspector course and qualify his course with 90% or above for the following:
• Admin (All company-related documents)
• OB
• IB
• Logistics
• Equipment
• Site Inspection
• On duty and off duty senior responsibilities on site
• Personnel
• Handing over the firearm and equipment
• Vehicle inspection
• Site Inspections
• Must have current minimum level 3 medical training.
• Current Firefighter Course
• JPX Training
• K&E Training
• Managing day-to-day issues. One-day workshop
• Discipline in the workplace and disciplinary hearings. One-day workshop
