ROLE PURPOSE

Internal Auditor - Audits shall be conducted across all management systems in a professional and timely manner. Reporting of results will include an open process to agree on the facts and the validity of audit findings. A detailed audit report, including a summary of the objectives and scope of the audit, as well as an issues or observations for improvement will be provided. In all cases, an audit action verification report will be produced to ensure adequate corrective action plans are completed.

Role Responsibilities

  • Managing internal audit in line with the business, customer, and management system requirements
  • Evaluate documents for accuracy and compliance with ISO standards, best practices, and regulatory obligations.
  • Assess the efficiency and maturity of internal processes and systems and make recommendations for improvement
  • Identify the potential risk of the organization and offer recommendations to reduce risk of noncompliance.
  • Identify continual improvement initiatives
  • Managing corrective actions and non-conformances through to close out and verification.
  • Compiles management information audit reports through relevant business tools to provide accurate/up to date data
  • Present findings to upper management in the form of reports and presentations
  • Prioritise and co-ordinate own and others work schedules to ensure that business and customer needs are met, and deadlines are adhered to
  • Able to communicate on complex issues at all levels to meet business and customer requirements to avoid escalations
  • Act in accordance with Logicalis SA governance and compliance policies and processes.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • Internal Auditing Accreditation (ISO 9001, ISO20000 and ISO 27001)
  • 1-2 Years experience in ISO compliance auditing
  • Privacy and Compliance Accreditation - Advantageous or qualified by experience

Additional Skills/Attributes

  • Experience of ISO 9001, ISO20000 and ISO 27001; planning and conducting internal audits
  • Management of audit findings through to effective resolution
  • Good working Knowledge of MS Excel, MS word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook skills
  • Proven experience of high standards of customer service
  • Good administrative experience, attention to detail, ensures accuracy of data, provides data for reporting and processing of information
  • Excellent Interpersonal, literacy and numeracy skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Able to identify trends and work with the business area towards preventive actions
  • Good written and spoken communications at all levels of business - Presentation and Training Skills
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Ethical Integrity and Honest
  • Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
  • Protecting the company by recognising potential issues/risks
  • Understanding of role and dealing with possible conflicts of interest within the division & customers
  • Ability to travel if required to various Logicalis SA offices in and around South Africa.
  • Valid driver’s license and own transport
