Field Sevice Technician / Red Seal Electrician

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified Electrician (Red Seal – Section 13).
• Experience past completion of trade test as an Electrician or Refrigeration Technician will be advantageous.
• Experience in the mining industry will be advatageous.
• Experience on maintenance and repairing of refrigerant air dryers.
• Experience on compressors and overhauling of compressor elements.
• Experience on Diesel machinery and equipment.
• Experience in PLC’s.
• Valid code EB driver’s license.
• Computer literate in MS Office and other related software.
• Able to identify / read parts manuals and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Must be medically fit to work in the mining and related industry.
• Must have own hand tools. (We can assist to purchase your own)
• Overtime, when required on Standby and call-outs.
• Trustworthy and able to work without supervision.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Follow detailed maintenance program on machinery and equipment. (Air compressors, Light Towers, Air Dryers and Generators).
• Full spectrum of maintenance tasks (mechanical, electrical, air dryer, cleaning, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, instrumentation).
• Identify and trouble shoot crucial maintenance related problems and solving there off.
• All administrative duties.
