Description

Job Responsibilities

Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements
Creating images and layouts using design software as per the creative brief
Testing graphics across various media
Study design briefs and determine requirements
Schedule projects and define budget constraints
Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic
Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
Test graphics across various media
Amend designs after feedback
Ensure Final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
Take a brief to grasp production team’s needs and specifications
Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
Consult with art director from production to post-production process
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Requirements And Skills

Minimum of 2 years of proven graphic designing & Video Editing experience
Any Bachelor’s degree
A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign)
A keen eye for aesthetics and details
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Premiere Pro, After Effects, Avid Media Composer, Light works & Final Cut)
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
Creative mind and storytelling skills
