You will shepherd your products from concept to launch, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure their market success.
Primary Accountabilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis & Trend Forecasting: Conduct thorough market research, analyze consumer trends (especially in natural and sustainable beauty), and identify unmet needs to inform product innovation and development.
- Product Strategy & Roadmap Development: Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies and roadmaps that align with Garnier's brand positioning and growth objectives.
- New Product Development: Lead the new product launch process across your portfolio. Work closely with R&D, Marketing, Sales, and other key stakeholders to size the opportunity, create the correct communication and drive trial and repeat purchase of the product. Complete an in depth post analysis to capture key learnings to be applied in future launches.
- Portfolio Management: Manage the existing product portfolio, identifying opportunities for optimization, line extensions, and new product introductions.
- Brand Messaging & Storytelling: Craft compelling brand narratives and messaging that resonate with our target audience to drive brand love and retail customers as brand partner of choice.
- Competitive Anaysis: Proactively monitor competitor activity, analyze market dynamics, and identify opportunities to differentiate Garnier's products and strengthen our position in the market and grow market share.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Develop and manage accurate product forecasts and budgets.
- Campaign Development & Execution: Lead the development and execution of impactful 360° marketing campaigns (in line with brand proposition) across multiple channels (digital, social media, PR, influencer marketing, events, in-store activations, etc.) ensuring a golden thread consistency across all channels and platforms. Propose and monitor marketing mix strategies (IMC/360/Digital/Retail) to build integrated, engaging consumer brand experiences.
- Media Management & Trade marketing: In collaboration with the media manager and in alignment with the BBL, make recommendations on media, implement media and promotion plans and ensure implementation of trade marketing plan
- Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Track product performance, analyze key metrics, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize product success.
