We are looking for an analytical and solutions-driven Senior Operations Specialist to lead and optimise supply-side operations in our South African ride-hailing business.
You will work closely with the Operations Manager(s) and Country Manager to drive strategic growth through key supply metrics, driver lifecycle management, and impactful local initiatives that scale our marketplace operations.
Leading end-to-end driver community engagement initiatives — building trust, fostering loyalty, and ensuring two-way communication with our driver partners
Collaborating with local operations and cross-functional HQ teams to gather insights and deliver action plans that improve the South African driver experience
Managing driver supply and performance in key South African cities — using data and on-ground knowledge to drive acquisition, retention, and satisfaction
Serving as a subject matter expert on the ride-hailing landscape in South Africa, bridging the gap between local market dynamics and internal operations
Designing and executing high-impact strategies to boost driver engagement, satisfaction, and long-term value creation
You have 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced, data-driven operations or analytical role
You are a strong collaborator with exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) in English
You have advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and a proven ability to work with data to inform decisions
You’re resilient and solution-oriented — you thrive on solving operational challenges with limited resources
You are passionate about technology, mobility, and local market impact
You have a strong sense of ownership, initiative, and are capable of working independently to achieve goals
You excel in managing multiple priorities and projects in a high-growth environment

Experience working in the mobility sector, ride-hailing, logistics, or high-growth startups in South Africa
Background in launching operations, market expansion, or scaling a business from the ground up
