Job Purpose
The Project Manager position is to ensure the successful planning and execution of all project deliverables while managing change throughout various project lifecycles. The role involves adhering to the Standard Implementation Process, utilising standard artefact templates, and managing internal relationships among various project stakeholders. This position operates within a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment and involves working on strategic projects that impact the top and bottom line.

The Project Manager position is to ensure the successful planning and execution of all project deliverables while managing change throughout various project lifecycles. The role involves adhering to the Standard Implementation Process, utilising standard artefact templates, and managing internal relationships among various project stakeholders. This position operates within a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment and involves working on strategic projects that impact the top and bottom line.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze business needs from a project perspective and keep abreast of new business developments or possible impacts during strategic the phases of the project
- Leading, directing and mobilizing project team members towards identified outcomes, utilizing mentoring or coaching skills as required
- Implement and deliver in accordance with timelines
- Delivery of project objectives in accordance with the Standard Implementation Process and correct documentation using the standardised project artifact templates
- Ability to engage at senior executive level from a planning and execution perspective
- Achieve results with working with multiple stakeholders
- Manage project scoping (using formal change request process) and planning
- Conduct project workshops to identify work breakdown structures
- Prepare project costing and priorities of projects and manage project costs/budget accordingly
- Identify and mitigate project risks and manage project issues
- Identify and manage project interdependencies
- Prepare consolidated project reporting
- Prepare and monitor Project Benefit analysis
- Set-up project governance structures Hold project meetings internally and externally
- Research on appropriate projects
- Conduct peer review quality assessments on other Project Managers
- JV partners (Edcon)
- 3rd Party Partners (Claims Administrators, Call Centres)
- Operations
- IT Team (incl. Business Intelligence and Business Enablement)
- Finance team
