Junior Business Development and Solutions Analyst

Job Overview:

Under guidance, contributes to the improvement of operational metrics (revenue, gross margin, operating income, utilization, client satisfaction and opportunity pipeline) through the execution of portions of operational processes and procedures. Assists with the implementation of process improvements. Works closely with the Business Development and Strategic Projects business lead to grow the IQVIA Southern Africa business.

Essential Functions:

• Supports operations initiatives such as opportunity management, resource planning, management tracking and forecasting, customer relationship management, customer satisfaction program, operational excellence initiatives or other operations systems and infrastructure projects.
• Supports the business development function with setting up business cases and presentations for new opportunities.
• Assists with administrative functions for external events hosted and attended by IQVIA.
• Conduct desktop research of markets where IQVIA operates for input into strategic documents.
• Proactively develops knowledge of business and function.
• Assists local functions by tracking, providing frequent reports, reporting progress and highlighting potential issues as opportunities.
• Documents and coordinates processes and systems rollouts ensuring appropriate follow up on actions leading to the seamless execution of plans.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Req
• B.Eng/BSc.Eng (Industrial) Pref
• Two (2) years of relevant operations experience or working knowledge of IQVIA products and systems Pref
• Good PC applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills Req
• Good problem-solving and design thinking capabilities Req
• Working knowledge of financial P&L statements, macro-economic factors and relevant levers to optimize business growth Pref
• Good focus on process and detail; good interpersonal and communication skills.
