Reporting to the Group Finance: Senior Manager (Insurance Reporting, Special Projects & Technical), we are seeking a Manager for Finance Automation Projects and Reporting to join our Group Finance team. The role will be responsible for supporting the implementation of automation initiatives, enhancing the financial reporting processes, managing project process with relevant stakeholders, as well as assisting with general financial accounting and reporting for an emerging business within PPS.

Qualification
- Chartered Accountant (SA), CIMA or Equivalent with at least 1 year post qualification experience
- Previous experience in working on automation projects would be an advantage
- Exposure to EPM/ERP systems (e.g. OneStream, HFM, D365) beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills to identify process inefficiencies and areas for automation.
- Proven problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges and ensure successful implementation.
- A strong understanding of financial and business processes and ability to identify areas of improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong Excel skills, familiarity with automation tools an advantage.
- Interest or experience in process automation and digital finance transformation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership capability to manage various stakeholders in the project implementation process. Good technical knowledge of IFRS.

Finance Automation
- Assist in identifying manual finance processes that can be automated or streamlined
- Support the implementation of projects relating to our EPM System (OneStream), the implementation of a new General Ledger (GL) system, and other projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Group Finances processes.
- Work with IT, Finance, and external consultants to design, develop, test and deploy automated solutions
- Participate in cross-functional finance projects (e.g. system migrations, reporting improvements, etc.)
- Track and monitor project milestones and provide status updates to stakeholders
- Plan the implementation of projects and implement tools and processes to assist is managing the execution of projects effectively.
- Oversee and manage the financial accounting and reporting processes for an emerging PPS business.
- Ensure journals entries are appropriately prepared and reviewed.
- Ensure adequate controls (including reconciliations) are in place to enable accurate and reliable financial reporting.
- Preparation and review of monthly management accounts and finance reports.
- Preparation of budget and forecasts.
- Preparation and review of financial statements. Manage the internal and external audit process.
