Picker at Famous Brands

Introduction

Execute transactions required in pickfaces as per company requirement. Ensures that orders are picked accurately, pickfaces are counted accurately and active put aways are executed correctly.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Picks the required items ordered by customers from pickfaces.
• Stages and prepare orders for delivery.
• Active put aways directly to pickfaces to be executed.
• Cycle counts of pickfaces to be done as required.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist with stock takes as and when required.
• Nesting and roll up if required.
• Uses material handling equipment in terms of pallet jacks and / or powered pallet jacks.
• Good housekeeping standards maintained.
• Any lawful and reasonable instruction.
  
  

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Grade 12 an advantage or experience in a similar role.
• At least 2 years' experience in similar role.
• WMS knowledge an advantage.
• Excellent physical condition and coordination
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work in a team
