Intern - Systems Administrator

• Our client is looking for an intern with a minimum Diploma in IT or a related field. The successful candidate will shadow the Support Team and offer support.
• Support the day-to-day operations of the servers by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Report on system downtime based on system monitoring systems implemented in the environment
• Review and apply Microsoft operating systems updates, and third party vender software patches - WSUS Patch management in the context on the CCT AFC systems.
  
  

Education

Minimum of an IT diploma or related qualification.

Experience

Work experience would be an added benefit particularly in a back office environment

Skills: - Microsoft and Linux administration skills.- Knowledge of software application and integration.- Knowledge of sequel or related scripting software.
