About the Role:

Are you a skilled web developer who loves creating high-performing e-commerce experiences and websites that drive marketing success?

R17 Ventures is seeking a talented and motivated Shopify Developer to play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing our clients' and our own digital presence. In this hybrid role, you'll leverage your expertise in Shopify, Webflow, and Hubspot to build engaging user experiences, implement technical SEO best practices, and ensure our websites are powerful marketing assets. You'll work closely with our marketing team to bring campaigns to life and contribute to the overall success of our ventures.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain company websites and landing pages using relevant programming languages (Shopify, Webflow and Hubspot)
• Collaborate with the marketing team to understand campaign requirements and translate them into functional and visually appealing web solutions.
• Implement and maintain technical SEO elements, including site structure, schema markup, page speed optimization, and mobile responsiveness.
• Ensure website performance, security, and scalability.
• Integrate website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) and provide insights to the marketing team on website performance and user behavior.
• Develop and implement A/B testing and other optimization strategies to improve conversion rates and user engagement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, marketing technologies, and best practices.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of website documentation and style guides.
• Potentially manage and integrate with other marketing technology platforms (e.g., CRM, email marketing tools).
• Ensure website compliance with data privacy regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience as a Web Developer, ideally with exposure to marketing initiatives.
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and responsive design principles.
• Experience working with at least one popular CMS (Shopify preferred).
• Solid understanding of SEO principles and their technical implementation.
• Familiarity with website analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager).
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Webflow, Shopify).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
