Specialising in retail, we are looking for a proactive, results-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills and technical insight. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently while providing detailed reporting to the Property Development Manager.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all physical assets, overseeing maintenance teams, assisting in coordinating new projects, and maintaining related services.

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Relevant tertiary qualification preferably in Project Management.
  • 2-3 years building maintenance and administrative experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Occupational Health and Safety experience/qualification.
  • Technical knowledge with regards to HVAC, Electrical and Backup Power systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of all company facilities.
  • Handling all invoicing, orders, and administration relating to maintenance work.
  • HVAC maintenance and management.
  • Read and understand architectural plans.
  • Facilities Management with an understanding in electrical consumption investigations and backup power.
  • Managing Tenant Improvement Allowance.
  • Procurement management which includes but is not limited to sourcing quotations for development requirements, purchase orders and compiling documentations and month end invoicing.
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with all levels of employees.
  • Submit weekly progress reports and provide updates on all administrative elements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
