The Marketing Campaign Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end management of assigned campaigns, projects and marketing initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, on brief and within budget with the aim of driving brand awareness, customer engagement and revenue growth. This role will leverage data insights and market trends to create targeted, results-driven campaigns that align with SunBet goals and marketing objectives.

Education

  • Degree in Marketing.

Experience

  • 5 - 6 years' experience in marketing campaign or project management, ideally within the gaming, entertainment, or digital marketing industries.
  • Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, including social media, digital advertising, email marketing, and SEO-driven content.
  • Experience working with creative teams, media agencies, and production houses.
  • Experience in launching marketing initiatives across multiple countries is advantageous.

Key Performance areas

  • Develop and execute marketing campaign and launch plans from briefing to execution, ensuring all elements are delivered according to plan
  • Act as the marketing team’s representative in cross-functional and cross-country project teams, ensuring that marketing deliverables are prioritised and delivered in-market on time
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams across Africa to localise marketing execution while ensuring brand consistency
  • Track timelines, budgets and deliverables, working closely with the Traffic Manager to allocate resources efficiently
  • Ensure all campaign assets (social media, digital banners, SMS, email, website content, blog articles, and presentations) are delivered in line with Sunbet’s brand guidelines and marketing objectives
  • Work with the Marketing Services Manager to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and brand standards across all campaign materials
  • Regularly update key stakeholders on campaign progress, flagging any risks or roadblocks and providing solutions
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis, measuring effectiveness against KPIs and recommending improvements for future initiatives
  • Act as the central point of contact for all assigned marketing projects, ensuring seamless communication between internal teams and external suppliers
  • Liaise with creative, digital and media teams to ensure all assets are developed and delivered on time
  • Organise and facilitate briefings, status meetings and review sessions to keep all parties aligned
  • Ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about timelines, approvals and final deliverables
  • Source and manage quotes from suppliers and external vendors, ensuring cost efficiency and budget alignment
  • Process purchase orders and invoices, tracking spend against budget for each campaign
  • Monitor supplier deliverables, ensuring quality and timely delivery of all contracted services
  • Maintain an organised record of project budgets, cost breakdowns and supplier agreements
  • Proactively identify and resolve misalignments between marketing and other business units, ensuring smooth workflows
  • Improve and refine processes that cause inefficiencies or communication breakdowns, ensuring better collaboration across teams
  • Troubleshoot and resolve requests from the team, providing non-advisory information to stakeholders around pricing, concerns, obstacles and challenges
  • Track and report on key marketing service metrics such as project completion rates, ROI, CPA and key campaign metrics and process efficiency
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of monthly and annual calendars of projects and deadlines, ensuring proactive planning for high-volume requests
  • Compile and maintain a tracking document for deliverables and updates, anticipating workload and resource demands
  • Support the marketing team by taking on additional projects, initiatives, and responsibilities as required
