Role Purpose

Responsible for performing and controlling general accounting duties, in support of the overall finance operations and to manage risk and ensure accuracy of financial information.

• Matric or Grade 12
• BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance-related qualification
  
  

Duties and Responsibilities

INTERNAL PROCESS

• Performing the Reinsurance function within Group Insurance.
• Compiling correspondence with internal and external clients.
• Preparing variance reports and analysis.
• Preparing the monthly balance sheet recons in preparation for financial reporting.
• Compiling various management reports.
• Assisting on special projects when the need arises.
• Performing bank account allocations
• Preparing monthly bank account reconciliations
• NB: Should you be successful, you will be employed for a period of twelve (12) months, with a monthly stipend.
• Only South African citizens aged between 18-30 are eligible to apply.
• One successful Intern will be based in Bellville, Cape Town
