Motions Designer

Overview

We are looking for a craft centric, conceptual motion graphics designer (with at least 4 years of experience) to work with our multi-talented studio, that services Toyota South Africa. The role requires a key understanding of motion graphics design and the ability to create exceptional work for web & digital, digital out of home and all major social media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with internal and external teams to manage Video and Motion Graphic projects effectively.
• Manage internal relationships on production-related issues, as well as managing client needs and expectations.
• Manage your creative process on projects.
• Work with other disciplines (Strategy, Creative, Media, and Accounts).
• Be a champion for technical innovation.
• Define or apply the aesthetic of overall campaigns.
• Consistently produce creative elements against a deliverables list.
• Participate in brainstorms & conceptualisation.
• Lead the craft of motion work.
  
  

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Motion Graphics Designer in an Interactive, Video, and / or Motion Graphics related field.
• The ability to provide rationales for creative choices made
• Knowledge of existing and emerging technologies & platforms
• A strong understanding of best practice interaction and visual design principles
• Facilitates technical workgroup meetings
• Must be able to work on one sizable and one medium size project at any given time.
• Have the ability to attend every review on a project with 3 new ideas.
• Must be comfortable running and overseeing projects independently.
