Role Description

We are seeking a Professional Services Technical Consultant that can provide In-House and client software installations and product training. Onboarding of new clients and facilitating existing clients’ requirements such; uninstalling/reinstalling basic software applications, verifying proper hardware and software set up, assisting with navigating around application menus and troubleshooting email issues. Walking alongside the client in a user-friendly, professional manner. Representatives will perform related work as required.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Training customers on our software products.
  • Tasks include installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware/software faults and solving technical problems, either over the phone or face to face, on the in-house products.
  • Working with customers/employees to identify computer problems and advising on the solution, if related to our product that CGMSA support.
  • Logging and keeping records of customer/employee queries.
  • Updating self-help documents so customers/employees can try to fix problems themselves
  • Testing and fixing faulty equipment when it’s related to issues from the software we support.

Requirements

  • Strong technical background.
  • Ability to explain complex information in simple, clear terms to non-IT personnel.
  • An ability to assess each customer/employee's IT knowledge levels
  • Ability to deal with difficult customers
  • Logical thinker
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge
  • An in depth understanding of our software and equipment your customers/employees are using
  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills
  • Good accurate records keeping
