The systems administrator will support operational teams in a warehouse courier environment by managing and resolving system-related queries, with a specific focus on the FarEye logistics system parcel processing systems. The incumbent will assist with training-related queries, provide first-level support for technical issues, and escalate process-related problems to the relevant stakeholders. This role is shift-based to ensure continuous system support.

- Provide technical and functional support for the FarEye platform, particularly related to user training and system navigation.
- Assist operations and courier staff with PAXI parcel-related queries across the relevant systems.
- Serve as the first point of contact for system-related issues arising during daily warehouse and courier operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues within agreed timelines or escalate to second-level support or development teams as needed.
- Monitor system performance and user activity during shifts to preempt or resolve issues.
- Maintain detailed logs of incidents, resolutions, and escalations using internal tracking tools.
- Ensure alignment with operational processes and recommend improvements where system gaps are identified.
- Collaborate with warehouse, courier, and IT teams to ensure seamless system integration and support.
Qualifications:
- Matric / Grade 12 (essential).
- IT certification or related technical qualification (advantageous).
- 2 + years' experience in a system support or warehouse logistics environment.
- Experience with FarEye, or similar last-mile delivery systems is strongly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
- Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with courier operations and system dependencies.
- Comfortable working shift hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously.
- Shift-based role: rotational shifts including weekends/public holidays.
- Position based in a warehouse environment; may require occasional travel between sites.
- Tools and training will be provided upon appointment.
