Grow, Innovate, Succeed! We have an incredible opportunity for a VESSEL SERVICES OPERATOR at I&J in the Waterfront, Cape Town. In this role, you will assist the Vessel Service Supervisor with tasks on the quay. Ensure that all equipment and materials are kept within the safety standards as laid down in the I&J Production Policies.

Reporting Structure

• Reports to: Vessel Services Supervisor
  
  

Key Areas Of Impact

Assist Vessel Service Supervisor with daily quayside tasks.

• Assists with quayside housekeeping
• Removal of items off the quayside
• Assist with the moving and discharge of vessels
• Assist with furling of vessels in South African ports
• Assist with driving and collections and daily administrative tasks
• Assisting in other departments when required
  
  

What It Takes To Succeed

Experience that set you up for success:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Vessel Service Operator function
  
  

Qualifications & Certifications That Will Contribute To Your Success

• Grade 11 or NQF Equivalent
  
  

Additional Requirements That Will Enhance Your Impact For Success

• Valid Hyster and Drivers Licence
• SAP knowledge
• Computer Literate
