Global Hire SA is looking for a IT Technician

We are seeking a hands-on and solutions-driven IT Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining our IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and ensuring all systems and networks run smoothly. • Provide technical support to users (hardware, software, and networking issues)


• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment


• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks


• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving faults


• Set up new user accounts and ensure proper system access and security


• Maintain documentation for IT systems and support procedures


• Assist with backups, updates, and system improvements


• Support IT projects and ensure minimal disruption to daily operations

Matric plus a relevant IT qualification (e.g., A+, N+, or Diploma in IT)

2–3 years’ experience in a similar IT support or technician role

Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows, Office Suite, and basic networking

Familiarity with routers, switches, and network troubleshooting

Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Good communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to work independently and under pressure

High level of integrity and attention to detail

Preferred:

• Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, or cloud-based services


• Driver’s license and own transport (advantageous)
