This role combines day-to-day HR admin, payroll responsibilities, and recruitment coordination—all within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Tasks
Payroll & Administration
- Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly payroll
- Maintain and update employee records
- Ensure compliance with statutory payroll regulations and submissions
- Handle payroll-related queries and discrepancies
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires
- Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures
Requirements
Recruitment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment: job postings, screening, scheduling interviews
- Conduct background checks and manage pre-employment assessments
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees
General HR Functions
- Support performance management and employee development initiatives
- Assist with employee relations and provide HR support to staff
- Help implement engagement initiatives to drive a positive company culture
- Ensure legal compliance with labour laws and HR regulations
Keep HR systems and documentation up to date and organized
What We’re Looking For:
- 2–3 years of HR administration experience (essential)
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong knowledge of HR and payroll processes
- Familiarity with labour laws and HR compliance in South Africa
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High integrity and respect for confidentiality
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
Additional Details:
- Work hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Availability: Immediate start preferred (depending on notice period)
- Transport: Own transportation required
- License: Valid driver’s license required
- Work environment: In-office (Centurion, Pretoria)
